Why does VoiceDo need microphone permission?+

The microphone is used only while you're recording a voice memo — recording starts and stops with the record button. VoiceDo never listens in the background. If you decline the permission, you can still view and manage existing tasks.

Where are my recordings and tasks stored?+

On your device. Recordings, transcripts, and tasks live in the app's private local storage — there are no accounts and we run no servers that store your content. Audio and transcript text are sent to AI services only at the moment a memo is transcribed and analyzed, then discarded.

My reminders aren't firing — what should I check?+

Open iPhone Settings → VoiceDo → Notifications and make sure notifications are allowed. Reminders fire at your chosen reminder time (default 9:00 AM) on the task's due date; times already in the past are skipped.

How do I manage or cancel my Pro subscription?+

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID. Manage or cancel them in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. To recover Pro on a new device, use “Restore Purchases” on the paywall screen.

How do I delete my data?+

Delete any memo in-app to remove its audio, transcript, and tasks. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data — nothing remains on any server, because nothing was stored there.
